Chris Brown Cut From BET Awards Michael Jackson Tribute

Chris Brown, once known for his “young Michael Jackson” comparisons, has been denied from participating in a tonight’s tribute to the late King of Pop at tonight’s BET Awards in Los Angeles, EgyptSaidSo is reporting.
Word is BET producers fear having Brown participate in the tribute to Jackson would upset fans of the network, who are still on edge after the crooner’s assault on singer Rihanna earlier this year.
Earlier this week, Brown — who performed Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” during the 2006 World Music Awards in London — hailed the star as the reason why he wanted to become an entertainer.

There were various artist that were included in the BET Awards last night who have had legal issues but was it held against them….NO. Diddy has various children from different women, Queen Latifah was caught with marijuana, Lil Wayne is up on charges and various others who we have read about. They were all on stage and none of those legal woes took away from “Michael’s night”.
Chris Brown is a FABULOUS entertainer. One who I will always contribute to……concerts, CDs etc.
Being labeled as “Bad things happen when you beat up on girls” is far fetched. It has been said that Rhianna’s camp did not want her to testify because it would have put Rhianna in a bad light. If you look at the whole picture….she is already in a bad light because she struck first. I am a woman and I would never hit a man. I know that I can not take him down. I have never provoked anyone to ever hit me and I have never been hit. If you can not take a hit then you should not give one. Keep your hands to yourself. Did we not learn that in kindergarten???????? Rhianna is foul……………………….. Chris keep your head up Baby. You will get a chance to do your thing again:)

I totally disagree with BET’s decision not to have Chris Brown perform. He would have set the stage off right w/ his tribute to Michael Jackson. Yes, he caught a case, but he is has been tried and sentenced once….in court, so who are we to keep holding it over his head. His one bad decision involving his personal life does not take away from the fact that he is an extremely talented young man who has a long and prosperous career ahead of him. So enough is enough!
