Chris Brown Joins Essence Music Festival-To Appear In Upcoming Film “This Christmas”

Chris Brown, a scheduled performer at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards, will appear in the upcoming film “This Christmas.”

The film will be released later this year and stars Regina King, Mekhi Phifer, Nia Long, David Banner and NeYo in leading roles.

The Poppin singer has also just been added to the lineup for the Essence Music Festival. This year will mark the first time since the devastation of Hurricane Katrina that the Festival will be returning to it’s native New Orleans. The Essence Music Festival will be held from July 5th-7th.
