Common will release his eighth studio album, Invincible Summer, this July.

“I created this music for the summer time, it’s about feeling good,” Common told Billboard during a recent preview of tracks appearing on the album. “This is the type of music I felt was missing from my body of work.”

“Universal Mind Control (U.M.C.),” Invincible Summer’s likely first single, is due by the end of May.
