Singing legend Diana Ross was booed by a crowd of 40,000 fans at Saturday’s Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival in Montego Bay. The audience became angry that Lady Di wouldn’t allow cameras to film her for large video screens that would allow everyone at the Acquaduct Rose Hall to see her performance.
Festival representative Carlette DeLeon released a statement stating: “the much anticipated performance of Diana Ross on Saturday proved somewhat disappointing to many patrons who expected a very interactive set.”
“Miss Ross’ request to have a restricted display of her performance however, inconvenienced patrons who were left feeling distanced from the stage and her performance.”
That was a kickass article. What do I do now?

she lucky the crowd was being nice…some artists get worse than that out here when they dont give ppl their moneys worth. Ask 5o cent. He almost got killed for letting ppl wait an hour for him to come on stage. Dude saw the lighters, aerosal cans and weaponry in the croud and got cold feet. We got heat for that shit, so he knew he had to give them what they want.

Thursday night was the best. Anita rocked. I am so sorry that people did not get their money’s worth. If I was there trust me Walter would have to reimburse me every cent including money I spent on food. I am wondering if the promoters are running out of good acts. Get some good acts next year please.
