Diddy Can’t Say Diddy In The U.K

A British judge has ordered rap mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to not refer to himself as ‘Diddy’ in a song lyric when he performs at Wembley Arena in London next month.
In September 2006, the hip-hop mogul settled a lawsuit with UK musician Richard ‘Diddy’ Dearlove over using the Diddy moniker out of court. He paid damages of $19,500 and agreed to trade as ‘P Diddy’ in the UK in order to avoid any confusion with Dearlove – who has been trading under the name ‘Diddy’ since 1992.
The rapper’s lawyers confirmed Combs will omit the lyric when he performs alongside Snoop Dogg during a British tour in April.
