Diddy Cassie Engaged: Diddy Marrying Cassie
Cassie and Diddy are engaged, the always reliable Star Magazine dishes.
Diddy, a lifelong bachelor and father of six, has been telling friends and family members that he’s finally ready to take the dive-and he can’t think of any person he would rather spend his life with than Cassandra Ventura, the one-hit wonder known to the R&B world as Cassie.
“Diddy is getting older and says he wants to settle down,” a Star snitch says.
The 38 year-old announced his plans to marry Cassie, 20, during his son Justin’s eighth grade graduation June 5.
“He told everyone to keep it extremely quiet because he didn’t want it to get out, but you could tell he was excited. Diddy said they hadn’t set a date yet, but he wanted his family to hear the news first.”
But the tabloid insider isn’t holding out much hope that a Cassie/Diddy union will stand the test of time:
“..I don’t know if it will work out. Diddy mentioned that they have an intense relationship and sometimes fight.”
