Diddy and thirty-one year Steve Acevedo were fighting over one of Diddy’s dimes, a striking blonde who accompanied him to Cannes in France over the summer.
Steve has dated the woman, who was not at the club, and possibly not even in the country.
Diddy will be charged with a misdemeanour - third-degree assault - and given a desk-appearance ticket for his role in the incident. He will not face jail time, say police sources, but weapons charges may be leveled against one of the mogul’s bodyguards.
