DMX Released From Jail
DMX is a free man. The 37-year-old hip-hop star, whose real name Earl Simmons, was released from an Arizona prison on Wednesday afternoon.
He had been serving time in the Maricopa County Jail stemming from a string of 2008 arrests on charges of drug possession, animal cruelty, and theft. X was originally only due to serve ninety days behind bars, but his stay was extended after he allegedly assaulted a corrections officer during his incarceration.
