Ousted ‘Imus In The Morning’ host, Don Imus, is preparing for a September return to the airwaves following the ‘Nappy Headed Hoe” Debacle back in April-and Imus is rumored to be cruising Black comedy clubs in search of a women of color to serve as his new sidekick. (Kind of like the Robin to his Howard Stern).

Imus reportedly figures a Black female will be able to keep him in check in the event any racist talk pops off. And Rev. Al Sharpton, the driving force behind Imus’ firing from CBS Radio, says he won’t fight the shock jock’s return to the airwaves.

“We never asked for him to have a life sentence. …We’re not saying he should never be able to work again, but we are saying it’s gotta be very clear what he’s coming back to do, under what advertisers and how,” Al Sharpton tells EUR.

In that case, what was the point in even having him fired?
