Dr. Jan Adams, the plastic surgeon currently under investigation after performing a possibly lethal cosmetic surgery on hip-hop mom Donda West, has been on the receiving end of at least two malpractice lawsuit and almost had his medical license revoked following a string of DUI arrests.
According to a report on CelebTV.com, the Executive Director of the California Medical Board earlier this year asked the state of California to consider revoking or suspending Adams’ license, citing multiple DUI arrests, including one in March of 2006, for which Adams was ultimately found not guilty of driving under the influence, and guilty for driving with a blood alcohol content of higher than .08.
