Academy Award-nominated actor Eddie Murphy and soon-to-be-reunited Spice Girl Melanie Brown will square off in a Los Angeles family court on Monday. The pair will provide a judge with a DNA sample in an effort to establish paternity of Mel’s daughter infant Angel Iris, born on Eddie’s birthday in April.

Mel has continiously maintained that Eddie is the father of her two-month-old daughter. Eddie, on the other hand, claims Mel cheated on him, even taking an exotic vacation with another man while they were together.

Hmph. Sounds like a case for Maury.

Eddie will miss the London premiere of his Blockbuster film “Shrek The Third” to attend the hearing.
