After spotting the mothers of his children engaging in a late week meet and greet at The Ivy Restaurant in Hollywood, Oscar-nominated actor Eddie Murphy has a released a public statement biting back at claims that he’s a deadbeat dad.
“Eddie Murphy always has and will continue to honor his responsibilities as a father. Mr. Murphy and Ms. Brown dated very briefly and never made any plans of ANY sort. He acknowledges paternity of the child Angel, and has paid child support to Ms. Brown as well as covering the expenses of her pregnancy. Mr. Murphy views this as a private matter and as such, will not be making any further comments about it.”
That was a kickass article. What do I do now?

I knew that Eddie never made any plans to have a baby with Mel. After being married for more than 10 yrs. and having five children and now dating someone for two months and planning a child, doesn’t seem logical for someone like Eddie to plan to have a baby with a women he hardly knows. Well, she got what she wanted and that’s for him to pay child support, but that will not get her the man nor for the man to spend the time with the baby. He’ll just be a paper daddy and that sad on Mel’s part to want that for her daughter.
