Eminem has rekindled his six year old feud with songbird Mariah Carey by recording unflattering material about her for his forthcoming album.
“There is more than one track that goes into really specific, intimate detail about what went on between Em and Mariah,” an insider tells OK! magazine.
Mariah has asked the head of her Island Def Jam label, L.A. Reid, to intervene.
“Mariah wishes she could sue Eminem for slander,” says the tattle. “But it’s his freedom of speech.”
Back in 2001, Eminem mocked Carey by releasing voice messages, said to be from her, of a woman pleading: “Why won’t you see me? Why won’t you call me?”
Em claims the pair had a fling-Mariah denies it.
“Something is clearly askew with him. I’m curious as to why he’s so obsessed with me,” the singer once told Playboy Magazine.

Eminem is one of the greatest modern day lyricists. Rekindling the feud between him and Mariah is nothing more than entertainment. When will you people learn? He’s said that on many interviews. He is an entertainer. So what if it’s at Mariah’s expense. That’s where getting back at her comes in.
