Celebrity informants have snagged an inside view of the event guestlist, which includes the Grammy Award winner’s estranged father, but omits the mother who helped make him a star.

“Usher and his father have recently mended fences,” an insider says. Usher’s godfather, actor Ben Vereen (Chicken George from ‘Roots’), will also be in attendance. Usher’s disapproving mother, Jonetta Patton, was not invited, says the snitch.
