Grammy-Award nominated rapper Fat Joe has reportedly agreed to cooperate with Miami authorities who believe he witnessed a double homicide in South Beach during Memorial Day weekend.

Joe’s teen nephew, John Garcia, offered the alibi late last week that the Bronx-bomber had left for Russia for a tour before the shooting occurred.

Joe’s attorney Jeffrey Lichtman, has since said that the rapper left the country after the shooting.

Lichtman contacted police after reports surfaced that Fat Joe had been at the scene and claims his client saw nothing and was not in the vehicle with the victims.

“He didn’t witness the shooting,” the attorney tells the New York Daily News..

Joe is expected to talk to the Miami PD sometime this week on the phone or in person.
