New claims have surfaced accusing Best Actor Oscar nominee Forest Whitaker of owing more than $2 million in back taxes.

The Globe claims to have obtained tax records that prove officials at the Internal Revenue Service have been attempting to get the actor to pay up since 2000. In addition, records show the state of California has filed two liens for unpaid taxes in the past two years.
