Isaiah Washington Compares ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Firing To Persecution Of Malcom X

Famed homophobe Isaiah Washington is comparing his recent firing from Golden Globe winning series ‘Grey’s Anatomy; to the social persecution faced by Black activists like Malcom X and Paul Robeson.

Isaiah maintains the controversy has fuelled misconceptions about him, with many forgetting the good work he does for African charities. But Washington is pragmatic about the experience: “Maybe for 50 years and the history of media and television I represent something that’s supposed to not exist.”

“This happened to Malcolm X, this happened to Paul Robeson - this misconception can happen to any man of power that loves himself and wants to spread that love and that humanity throughout the world.”

That was a kickass article. What do I do now?
