One Response to “Janet Jackson Greatest Hits “Number Ones” Available Nov. 17”

Noteworthy omission: “You Want This.” But glad to see “Diamonds” and “Best Things In Life Are Free” included here, those are fun tracks worthy of inclusion (as is “Scream” with brother Michael). “Make Me” is a great new dance single, I wish radio would pick it up. Not sure why “All Nite (Dont Stop)” would be featured on here- it’s no bigger a hit than half a dozen other songs just as good by her including “So Excited,” “I Want You,” “Rock With U,” dance fave “Throb” even the old school “Don’t Stand Another Chance,” or “70s Love Groove,” “Twenty Foreplay,” “And On And On” (the last 3 songs in this list aren’t available on i-tunes, were B-sides or double A-sides to high charting singles and would’ve been welcome inclusions here). I hope this hits package isn’t a huge commercial disappointment like her past few albums which had some really decent songs on ‘em (for ex: “Get It Out Me,” “Show Me,” “R&B Junkie,” the grossly under-appreciated “Luv” and “With U”)… I guess when you’re hot you’re hot and when you’re not you’re not… Here’s to hoping Janet return to the “hot” seat in 2010.
