Jay-Z Seeks Restraining Order To Have Vegas Party Shut-Down

Hova filed a last minute temporary restraining order in Federal court on Friday to shut down a Las Vegas party using his likeness to promote an event.
Club Ice is throwing a bash on Saturday night using Jay-Z’s image plus the names of his companies, Roc-A-Fella and Rocawear.
The hip-hop mogul is throwing his own soiree on Saturday night at the Venetian Hotel’s Tao Nightclub.

When Jay arrived in Sin City for NBA All-Star Weekend and saw all of the ads featuring his name and face he called his lawyers back in the Big Apple who got in touch with Robert Reynolds, an attorney from Nevada.
R.R reports that he was able to file the temporary restraining order before the courts closed for the holiday weekend and the club has been served.
A club employee says they have a signed contract with one of the VPs of Roc-A-fella Records, the person was paid in full, and as of now the party will go on as planned on Saturday night.
Hov’s lawyers say that if the club proceeds with the party the Las Vegas Police will shut it down.
