Jermaine Dupri is planning to wed his longtime girlfriend Janet Jackson after telling presidential hopeful Barack Obama she writes him the sweetest love notes.

J.D met up with Senator Obama at a party in NYC last week and the subject matter quickly turned to Ms. Jackson.

Confiding in the presidential hopeful, Dupri told Obama, he’s “definitely” marrying Janet, and “can’t wait to make a baby with her.”

A fellow party guest/snitch, who overheard the chat, tells Life & Style magazine:

“Barack told him he’s a lucky man, and Jermaine replied, `You have no idea! She takes good care of me… She writes me poems.’”
