John Legend, Jennifer Hudson To Headline White House Black History Month Concert
President & First Lady Obama will host In Performance at The White House: A Celebration of Music from the Civil Rights Movement, a concert celebrating Black History Month in February.
Natalie Cole, Bob Dylan, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, John Mellencamp, Smokey Robinson, Seal, and other have signed up for the show, which will be emceed by Oscar-nominated actor Morgan Freeman and singer/rapper/actress Queen Latifah. The concert will be televised on Feb. 11 at 8:00 PM ET on PBS stations. NPR will also produce a one-hour special from the event to air on its stations throughout the month.
