Preparing an African-American young man for manhood in America is a pain staking process and of the upmost importance. Not only do you have to address what it means to be a black man in America, but for Justin there is much more, as his parents are famous and wealthy.
What Justin does need to understand is that young women and some older women are going to be attracted to him because of his famous father and needs to know how to handle that. People are going to try to use him to get to his father. On top of all of that, he has got to deal with being a young black man in America. So, when Puffy buys his son a Benz for his 16th birthday, he is going to have to deal with the girls, the police, who will think he stole the car and the boys who want to be friend him because of what he has and what he has access to.
While, I would not condone my son having a lap dance at 13, I have exposed him to some things, because I wanted him to learn from me and to feel free to ask me question about whatever, as opposed to learning it in the street. Thus, I’ve taken him out with me at 16, I’ve let him smoke marijuana in the house, as opposed to on the corner with his boys, I’ve let his father/uncles take him to strip clubs. As I know some police officers, I’ve let him spend the day in jail, when he acted like he wanted to be a thug/criminal. I’ve made him read about not only black history, but the black man’s experience in American. He has grown up knowing that black men in America are endangered species. At 23, he is now really understanding what I meant. I say that to say, if my son need to go throught those things at an earlier age, because of his maturity level, I would have made it possible.
Whores come in all shapes, sizes and ages. Where were the mothers of those seemingly fast ass little girls? It does not look like he asked anyone to give him a lapdance and further, it looks as though someone is holding him down, so the girl could give him a lapdance. For all we know, we was trying to push the girl off of him. In the other picture, it looks as though the girls are kissing him. In fact, Justin looks to be a intelligent young man who is coming into his own and obviously with a bunch of little groupies, whose mothers need to talk to them about how they should carry themselves in public.
We as parents need to teach both our young men and young women how to conduct themselves in a respectful manner regardless of where they are. As I’ve taught my son, you are a reflection of me wherever you are, especially when I’m not around, what you do speak volumes about how me and how I’ve reared you.
