Kelly Rowland MOBO Awards Disaster Leaves Star “Livid”
Kelly Rowland is demanding an apology from organizers of the U.K.’s Music of Black Origin (MOBO) Awards over poor sound quality during her performance at last night’s ceremony in Glasgow, Scotland.
The former Destiny’s Child star performed her current single, “When Love Takes Over,” with David Guetta, when she claims her microphone went out of commission.
She later took to her Twitter page to express how “livid” she is at the awards show bosses for making her “work harder.”
“I wanted you guys to be the 1st to hear it from me! Rehearsals were fine. Soundcheck was fine. Performance was a struggle at 1st. What I will say is the Mobos owe me an apology! I was LIVID after the show! I got through it. It happens! The next show will be better. TRUST!”
