MTV VJ LaLa Vasquez is setting the record straight on her reaction to her NBA-dunkin’ fiance, Carmelo Anthony’s DUI arrest in Denver on Monday.

According to local news affiliate KWGN, LaLa refused to pick Melo at the hospital where he was taking blood tests as part of his DUI arrest. LaLa says that’s not true:

“I want to make sure the public understands that I fully support my fiancé, Carmelo Anthony, and stand by him through this ordeal. I will always have his back and never refused to pick him up from the police station. In fact, they offered to bring him to me.”
