LeToya Luckett On Beyonce Blackballing From 2009 BET Awards
Beyonce and LeToya Luckett are speaking out against reports that The Knowleses kept the former Destiny’s Child star from performing at Sunday night’s 9th Annual BET Awards.
LeToya Luckett – fell out with her former best fiend after she was replaced in the DC lineup in 2000 – the R&B star was rumoured to be performing at the event to promote the August release of her second solo album, Lady Love. And her absenced has sparked rumors Beyonce’s team had threatened TV bosses with an ultimatum between the pair.
Beyonce, on the other hand, did take the stage. The Sasha Fierce hitmaker performed a stirring performance of “Ave Maria.”
A spokesperson for Beyonce denies the singer or her family had anything to do with railroading LeToya’s performance, The New York Daily News reports.
“Everybody (who performed at the event) works hard and we all have something different to offer, from Keyshia (Cole) to Keri (Hilson) to Bey (Knowles), everybody is different in their own ways so it saddens me if that’s true, and I hope that’s not the case,” LeToya told the paper this morning.

I hope this isn’t true regarding the Knowles. What God has for you no man can stop or block you. MJ’s death is an example of here today gone tomorrow. When one makes oneself a stumbling block for God’s plan, be careful. Jay Z and Beyonce may have some power due to wealth and fame, but God has all power.
