Lil Kim Slams Naturi Naughton
Lil Kim has publicly slammed The Notorious B.I.G.’s widow, singer Faith Evans, and the rap legend’s mother, Voletta Wallace, insisting the pair helped producers of the new Biggie biopic, Notorious, portray her in a negative light.
However, the female MC has now admitted that she recently watched the film to ensure she hadn’t been totally defamed, and what do ya know, her disdain for the project has remained unchanged!
According to Necole Bitchie, Kim recently posted a blog on her official Facebook page bustin’ her guns at Naturi Naughton, the actress who plays the Grammy Award winner in the film.
“I feel like I was not portrayed how I should have been in this movie. I was in love with BIG and he was in love with me. I was never a JUMP-OFF, I know this and BIG knew this. I wasn’t even able to choose who I wanted to portray me in this movie. I would have never picked Naturi, she doesn’t have a Lil Kim aura at all! She looks nothing like I looked back then. We have NO similarities. Watching her on-screen was so “dreadful” as Simon Cowell would say. She is tasteless and talentless. Never once did she contact me for input or to get a feel of me for the character. A “ TRUE” actress would contact the source to be the best they can be in portaying someone. That told me right there, she wasn’t right for the part and not to mention, Naturi has got to be one of THE worst actresses I’ve ever seen and I can’t believe they chose her. I really can’t!
Another thing is, I have been dealing with legal matters as far as them not wanting to pay me and sh*t for this movie, got a lawyer involved, so everything is cool with that, but it still doesn’t change my views and feelings. This is truly Faith and Ms. Wallace’s movie. And Ms. Wallace is right, this isn’t a Lil’ Kim movie and it’s not about me. I didn’t want it to be about me, I wanted it to be REAL though. And that it is NOT. I take no part in this movie and have nothing to do with it. I love BIG and will never stop reppin him. There is NOTHING anyone can do about it. The world will see the Lil Kim story, THE REAL ME! Not some made up bullshit portrayed by a talentless has-been back up singer”
LMAO….I’m sorry, but did Lil Kim just have the temarity to call someone else “tasteless?” Is this the same “I used to be scared of the dick, Now I throw lips to the shit, Handle it like a real bitch” Lil Kim?!
Futhermore, when you’re getting you back pounded out by a dude for years and he up and wifes a chick he literally knew for days, that makes you what we in the hood call “a jump,” sweetie.
In recent weeks, the plastic surgery addict has sparked speculation that Naturi’s dark skin tone-and not her acting- is her real qualm with the former 3LW singer’s selection.
According to the February 2009 issue of VIBE, Kim wanted light-skinned Cuban-American singer Christina Milian to play her in the motion picture.
Ummm..just because Christina Milian looks how you wish you looked, doesn’t mean she can play you in a movie. Can I get a hit of whatever she’s smoking?
“She wanted an Asian girl to play her. So we’re all praying for Lil’ Kim’s mental stability and everything,” says actor Dennis White, who plays Damion “D-Roc” Butler in Notorious.
