‘Lil Wayne Is No Legend,” According To Clipse

‘Grindin’ hitmakers Clipse are accusing Lil Wayne of swagger jacking Jay-Z and Jim Jones; proclaiming the New Orleans bred lyricist ‘no legend.’
“You can’t bite everybody’s styles. You can’t try to rap like Jay-Z, dress like the Clipse, become a coke dealer after five albums, and now dress like Jim Jones. You can’t do all that and be a legend. You have to be a trendsetter and he ain’t setting any trends.”
The rapper last exchanged insults in 2006 when Lil’ Wayne criticized their lack of presence in the music industry and hit out at the brother’s mentor, Pharrell Williams.
“I don’t see no f#*king Clipse. This is a f*#king legend you’re talking to right here. Who the f#*k is Pharrell?”
