Man Accused In “RHOA” Murder Released From Jail
Frederick Richardson, the man charged with voluntary manslaughter in the slaying of A.J. Jewell, the on-off fiancé of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss, was released from Atlanta’s Fulton County Jail early Tuesday.
Magistrate Judge Karen Woodson released Richardson — who posted $10,000 bond — after an initial coroner’s report suggested the blood disorder sickle-cell anemia may have been a factor in Jewell’s death.
On Oct. 2, Jewell died in an brawl with Richardson in the parking lot of Body Tap, an ATL strip club co-owned by Jewell. According to ATL police, Richardson, worked at the club, struck Jewell in head, causing injuries that proved fatal.
