Mathew Knowles is being sent to the left, to the left. Nearly 30 years after “putting a ring on it,” Mathew and Tina Knowles, parents of singing stars Beyonce and Solange Knowles, are divorcing. The once-acclaimed stylist-turned-clothing designer petitioned a Houston court last month in a bid to end the couple’s 29 year union, TMZ.com reported on Friday. In October, a California costume designer in her 30s filed a paternity suit against Mathew. Alexsandra Wright claims Beyonce’s dad, 58, is the father of her unborn child, which is due in spring 2010.
