Matthew Knowles has fired Beyoncé ’s longtime bodyguard, “Shortie,” with the claim that the 400 pound man is ‘too old and obese’ to properly protect his daughter.
The stage dad thinks his daughter should be protected by a younger and more buff guard, according to Atlanta Gossip. Matthew paid out the remainder of his $500,000-plus contract and a $100,000 bonus.

He’s been doing his job pretty well so far. It’s crazy because I was just talking to someone about how big overweight bodyguards probably have a hard time chasing someone. He’s supposedly Michelle’s cousin. D*mn Shortie. It was good while it lasted maybe he will lose weight.
