I'm white and I am pretty sure if a petite, intoxicated white girl were to be arrested, the police would not release her alone in the middle of the night. Her car was impounded and she left her cell phone in there, and apparently had no money since she was arrested for not paying the restaurant bill. So how could they just release her like that? Also, her mother called the department and told them she'd pick her up at 4:30AM so why would the police release her at 1AM? Part of the reason why some people are so skeptical of the police system is because of cases like this. They are here to protect and serve the public and they so dropped the ball.
