Mo Nique Hairy Legs

Mo’Nique took home the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for her dramatic role as an abusive mom in Precious: Based on the novel ‘Push,’ by Sapphire, and gave one of the most moving speeches of the night at Sunday’s ceremony. But the comic is in the news for another reason this MLK Monday — she was also showed off those signature hairy chicken legs. Mo is raising eyebrows for flaunting her leg hair on the red carpet.

Once again Monique has shown consistency in her tackiness. I used to really admire her and her talent, but her lack of class negatively surpasses “keeping it real”. Despite any golden globe or Oscar Monique should stick to comedy as she has proven through her actions for the world to see that she is an undisputed JOKE!!!

A joke (I might add) with a tired punchline that is NOT funny anymore. So disappointing.

Personally, I shave but I admire Monique for doing her thing. Everyone is not alike and everyone dose not have to walk around with shaven smooth legs, just like everyone don’t have to be a long tall skinny bone to be considered attractive. Trust me people there are a whole lot of guys out there who love hairy legs and all. With all that is going on in Hati why do you worry about such mondane things, let people be who they are and stop trying to put everyone in the same boat because face it ” everyone is not the same”.

I would like to echo everything Aquarius said!! How much lower can the “keeping it real” bar get? What’s next? Are we supposed to find her passing gas on the red carpet cute too? It’s one thing to march to your own drummer and not give a damn what the world thinks and it’s quite another to want to up your bar and come correct.

Really now, who says all women should shave their legs? What about freedom of choice? Does this have something to do with all women should have straight hair?

It’s a little thing called class and etiquette. If Monique wants “play” big shot, be respected and move in certain circles she needs to get some. Walking the red carpet has nothing to do with what some guys like. Everyone has a right to be who they are but if one wants to be a clown they need to join the circus, not bring it everywhere they go. It’s interesting, how what’s going on in HAITI didn’t stop you Deloris from commenting. I can contemplate 2 issues at once thanks.

I think Mo’ is a fabulous woman. Where does it say that in order to be considered a classy woman you have to have shaven legs? Legs don’t make the woman, the woman makes the legs. Get a life haters’. How about giving some Mo some congrats for getting that award!!

I’m glad PRECIOUS had 2 categories in the golden globes but it’s hard to conrgratulate the actress who barely bothered to promote the movie that gave her this opportunity, instead of the real star who should have won GABOUREY SIDIBE. God must know why Monique won it, cause I sure as hell don’t!

Let me break it down for those who are too dense to get the point. This is not about shaven or unshaven legs. WHY IS MO’ LIFTING UP HER DRESS ON THE RED CARPET PEOPLE?!!. I don’t care if she has the crown jewels under there it’s a little something called INAPPROPRIATE. Who does that? Some paparazzi probably (knowing her rep for unshaved legs) asked her to do it and Stups actually facilitated them making an ass out her with a big, ignorant smile at that. It’s a black tie event not a baltimore blocko.

” a little thing called class and etiquette” where did you learn the meanings of those words? off the TV? Are you basing class and etiquette on what you see as these fake, anorexic shallow-minded women in the magazines?

I have never seen you Aquarious but I would guess that physically, you are the last women on earth I would be attracted to.

What do you think?
