HIP HOP is not dead it is getting whack by all those below standard southern lyrics. The beats are hot and it’s only a handful of rappers from the south that are truly lyrical Ti, wayne,outkast, ugk, and maybe 3 others. Hip hop is what it is. We must stop being ignorant. The powers that be want hip hop to fall. They want rock and roll back. Hip hop is king but the Southern dudes are making hits with below standard lyrics so that is the cause of anomosity between east coast and the south. I am from Philly so you either get down or lay down. Mims is whack but that song was the shit. Southern sound is in.
