New CoverGirl Spokesmodel Rihanna Releases New Single “Umbrella”
Rihanna is set to launch a new single “Umbrella” featuring Jay-Z today in preparation for the album she plans to release this summer.
Bahamas born beauty Rihanna is prepping her third album set to drop on June 5. The first single for the project, “Umbrella,” is scheduled to make its worldwide debut today at 5 p.m. EST on www.rihanna.defjam.com. The track, which was produced by C. Tricky Stewart features Hov dropping a few bars.
The West Indian songstress is also stepping into her new role as a CoverGirl spokesmodel. This June, the makeup line will release the first ads featuring Rihanna, who now joins the ranks of such beauties as Tyra Banks.
“I’ve loved makeup and dreamed of being a CoverGirl since I was a little girl,” Rihanna said via statement. “Growing up, my mother was a makeup artist and I was fascinated watching her apply lipcolor, blush and mascara. Now I get to be surrounded by all of my favorites from CoverGirl!”
