Nicki Minaj Fires Manager Debbie Antney
What’s up with Nicki Minaj?
Just days ago, Hip-Hop’s self-appointed “Barbie” hit headlines when she dropped out of a summer tour with Rihanna and Ke$ha, now Minaj is leaving fans scratching their heads again after she fired her manager of three years, Debbie Antney.
“I received a letter, which was (a) suspension,” says Antney, who happens to be the mother of rising rap star Wacka Flocka Flame. “The next letter that came in was a cease and desist in doing all business with Nicki Minaj from Nicki’s attorney. I love Nicki. I wish her the most success. It’s not about the music, she’s like one of my children… I wish her no harm, only much success.”
Nicki is currently working on her debut album.

she fired Debbie Atney because she didn’t handle the necessary paperwork for Nicki’s permit to be able to go on the international tour. That would be a good enough reason to fire a manager, you’re supposed handle your artists and make sure everything is completed at a reasonable time.
