Nicole Mitchell Murphy, the mother of five of Eddie Murphy’s six children, is on the verge of being homeless, according to The National Enquirer.
Despite walking away with a $15 million divorce settlement, friends claim Eddie’s ex is nearly broke after a risky investment in an online jewelry community-Collection X.
“I think Nicole’s been duped out of a fortune by Troy-a man she thought was a close pal,” says the tabloid source.
Nicole placed Troy’s name on the deed to her $6 million Granite Bay, California home. A move which resulted in millions of dollars in defaulted loans.
“Nicole got that house as part of her divorce settlement from Eddie. It was supposed to be for her and her children.”
“I’m sure she regrets the day she let Troy into her life and her bank account.”

I could’ve told Eddie years ago when he married her that it wasn’t going 2 last. Most of these men marry some of these women becuz of their looks (I don’t blame a person for choosing a “looker”.) However, when the fascination w/ their looks R over their stuck w/ the REAL person & that usually isn’t enough 2 keep the marriage 2gether. They start cheating & looking for satisfaction elsewhere. It’s usually the men that choose light skinned women. Ladies aren’t we tired of this Shit yet???(Shaq, Michael Jordan, Eddie Murphy, My dad, etc.)

just read the firesummer07 comments re light skinned black women- this muts be a usa thing cos in uk as a dark toned black lady i have no problems attracting a man - be he , black ,white what ever colour he is .
i think irrespective of colour just be confident and people will see that - but start comparing yourself to someone of different colour skin tone to yours - then aura becomes dead ……. some of us do not have this skin tone issue ……. but then we are Black Europeans and that says a lot…………because beauty for us is definately in the eye of the beholder. ………… some of the men you mentioned probably did marry because they liked what they saw - but wouldn’t do the same!!!! - if you saw someone you liked and had feelings for them and they where a shade lighter or darker than you - shoule that stop or prevent from having a realationship with them?????…… what you failed to mention is maybe they just fell out of love ….. so it does happen you

i’m also from UK. Have lived up North and South. Da original comment was refering to black men, not white men etc so they needen’t be discussed. White men like black women cause they see us as exotic and mysterious, so we don’t need to discuss them. I have a lot more white men approach me, than white men, however all my lighter skinned girls get approached more by black men. We are no more pretty or well endowned than one another. However if you look closely around you, black men in general have only lighter skinned women than themselves on their arms. I think u must be living in a different England if you don’t think this is the case. I advice u look around the next time you step out of your house. I don’t agree with it at all, however I am a realist and will not pretend it is not the case. Black men in the Western world have issues wid dark skinned women, whether they be from US, England, Paris etc.
