Reformed reggaeton rapper has been released from his contract with Def Jam after disputes over the label’s refusal to release a completed album as well as failing to support his reggaeton effort N.O.R.E Y La Familia.

“I love Def Jam and every bit of history that we have together, but it’s time to move on. I’m fully on my own and I want to be my own boss,” N.O.R.E says. He adds that “this is what I asked for.”
