Remy Ma’s jailhouse nuptials to Papoose were abruptly cancelled on Monday after the Brooklyn-bred MC tried to bust Rem out of Rikers Island!!

Papoose showed up with a most curious wedding present: a handcuff key, the New York Daily News reports.

According to the NYDN:

“A wedding was scheduled today and a visitor to that wedding service was found to be in possession of jail contraband so the wedding was canceled,” a corrections official said in a press statement on Monday.

“The key that was found today easily opened handcuffs that we and other law enforcement officials use….The visitor was sanctioned by not being able to visit Rikers Island again for 6 months…He was asked to leave.”

Pap- real name Shamele Mackie - won’t be able to see his again fiancee until November, thanks to his little attempted Prison Break. The couple never did make it to their wedding ceremony.

Remy Ma will sentenced on Tuesday (Tomorrow) for shooting her friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph in the stomach outside New York City nightclub the Pizza Bar last July.
