New York Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress will turn himself in Monday morning and plead not guilty to a charge of criminal possession of a weapon, the Associated Press reports.

Burress suffered a thigh wound when he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a New York nightclub late Friday.

The 31-year-old had a previous hamstring injury that kept him out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.
