Queen Latifah, Jennifer Lopez, and Alicia Keys are talking about their roles in the new film The Secret Life of Bees in the new issue of Ebony Magazine.

Alicia reveals she resorted to wearing a fake tan on the set of the movie after trips to tanning salons failed to make her look darker.

“They made fun of me the whole time. I would tell Queen: ‘I’m darker than you’. She’d say: ‘Whatever, just wait till all that makeup comes off.’”
