R. Kelly has been hospitalized in Miami for appendicitis and will miss a status hearing in his fourteen count child pornography case being held at the Criminal Courthouse in Chicago.

Kelz’ lawyer Terrance Gillespie says that the self-proclaimed “Pied-Piper” was admitted to Jackson Memorial Hospital on Feb. 4, was operated on shortly after entering the hospital and is currently “recuperating just fine.”
