R. Kelly is reportedly dating convicted shoplifter and American Idol Season 2 finalist, Trenyce Cobbins. Being that Trenyce is actually old enough to drive, we don’t buy it, but we’ll see what transpires. The forty year old supposedly fell for the twenty-seven year old singer after meeting her last April through a mutal friend.

“He was drawn to her immediately,” an R. insider reveals to Star Magazine. “He loves when some is both beautiful and talented, and Trenyce is definitely that.”

The rumored couple were spotted getting “very affectionate” at a Los Angeles-area Roscoe’s Chicken n’ Waffles on December 14th.
