Remy Ma Wanted For Attempted Murder
Remy-Ma is wanted by the NYPD in connection with a shooting incident in Manhattan that sent a twenty-three year old woman to the hospital.
The shooting took place on West 14th St and Washington Street around 4am on Saturday. A 911-call led to the discovery of twenty-three year old Makeda Barnes-Joseph , who was shot in the torso, but in stable condition.
Makeda and Remy grew up together in the Castle Hill section of the Bronx.
According to the tabs:Witnesses told cops that Remy Ma accused Barnes-Joseph of stealing $2,000 before the shooting. The rapper said her longtime pal had been the last person to hold her purse, the witnesses said.
Informants report that Remy Ma and members of her entourage were involved in a dispute and the rapper pulled out a gun and shot the woman. Remy was said to have fled the in a dark blue Cadillac Escalade, which she crashed a few blocks later and escaped on foot.
