Russell Simmons Kimora Lee Simmons Custody Battle
Russell and Kimora Lee Simmons are at odds over custody of their two children, Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5.
In documents filed Tuesday in Los Angeles court, the hip hop mogul is requesting asking for joint custody of his two daughters in his divorce from estranged wife Kimora Lee, CelebTV.com reports. Kimora Lee, on the other hand, asked for sole custody in her March divorce filing, requesting that Russell get only “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”
Fifty year old Russell married former model Kimora Lee in 1998. The couple separated in 2006.

I hope they figure out what’s best for Ming and Aoki before figuring out what’s best for themselves. Just from watching Kimora’s reality show, she seems really close to her daughters. So, she will go nuts if her babies are taken away.
