Scott Storch Sued For $550,000

The man behind L.A Confidential magazine is suing hip-hop producer Scott Storch, and his production company Tuff Jew Productions for $550,000 he says he lent Scott and has not yet been repaid.
“I wish it didn’t have to come to this,” publisher David Menefield says.
The lawsuit also included a copy of a promissory note and a copy of a wire transfer receipt that David says supports his claim.
Scott Storch, a Teletubbies look-a-like with taste in beautiful women, has a penchant for splurging. He bought Paris Hilton and Lil Kim luxurious whips while dating them and dropped lots of dough on jewels while romancing recently sprung rehabber, Lindsay Lohan.

Hey guys,
I’m confused, I don’t think David Menefield is a publisher, he’s the owner of something, but not sure what. I think
LA Confidential might be different than the magazine, maybe something music-related?
…confused, please help.
