“Baby mama” Shaniqua Tompkins is accusing hip hop mogul 50 Cent of orchestrating the five-alarm blaze that nearly killed her and the ten year old son she shares with the rapper. 50 and Shaniqua have been embroiled in a bitter fight over the $1.4 million Long Island home for several months.

He said that he was gonna have somebody come kill me. Watch what he does, and this is what he did,” she told reporters as she was released from a Long Island hospital on Friday. “He’s upset. If he cant have it, nobody can.”

Shaniqua says she heard someone enter the house at approximately 4 am, just an hour before the flames broke out.

In the meantime, 50 has released the following statement about the fire:

“Informed this morning while filming a new motion picture on location in Louisiana, Curtis Jackson expressed deep concern over this fire at his property,” his rep said. “He is extremely thankful that everyone including his son, Marquise, escaped the burning house safely.

“He is confident that authorities will be conducting a thorough investigation of the incident and is eager to review their findings.”
