Elana, you don’t seem to get the fucking picture that you’ve been banned from this site and nothing you post will show up-EVER!

Let me take this time to tell you that you are typical whining ass bitch who takes to calling Blacks bigot and bitching about a double standard when someone of your race says some disrespectful garbage to a group of young women, statements that would have gotten a Black man lynched forty years if he had said something that foul to a White girl.

You could have easily made your argument without attacking me personally, you know nothing about me, you stringy-haired ho. You called me out of my name, and now you’re getting the same treatment. Doesn’t feel good does it? You chose to go about it another way, so live with the consequences. The lyrics need an upgrade. But that shouldn’t even be an issue, rappers aren’t the ones who attacked a group of accomplished young women when they were supposed to be doing their job-Don Imus did.

But why are people even using the cliche “Rappers Say It So I Should Be Allowed To Say It, Too” excuse?

Do you do everything you see some other fool doing? Have a mind of your own!

If every rapper threw themselves off the top of the damn MTV building would Imus and all the other White people who like to replace the er in nigger with an a and then say it’s not a racial slur, follow suit and plunge to their deaths, too?

Of course not.

White people don’t do anything else that Blacks do that they know is wrong so why do they always starting whining about this “It’s A Double Standard,” “Rappers Say It” bullshit when it comes to one of their Klansmen being “unsheeted” in public?

so Imus is degrading something positive, while snoop is (further) berating something negative. Yet ppl say its the samething?

I personally have no problem with calling ppl names if its in context and helps to bring across social commentary but if its just plain pointless and uncalled for like what Imus did then i can’t support that.

Also the fact that ppl are trying to take the finger off of Imus and point it to rappers is a bitch move.

The whole thing with Imus is crazy. I honestly have very mixed feelings on the whole thing. One of the guys over at Highbrid Nation who actually worked with Imus at WFAN for years wrote a good article talking about Imus' views on race from the perspective of a minority that was around him every day. You should check it out if you get a chance.

I love how Snoop Dogg tries to rationalize his bad behavior. It is a double standard. Imus should be banned for using such language and so should every song that contains the same words.
