Tank was arrested for disorderly conduct during NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans on Monday morning, and the R&B singer has accused New Orleans Police of assaulting him. Tank was on his way to an afterparty for the NBA All-Star Weekend at the House of Blues with a female friend, Ira Dewitt, in the early hours of Monday, when they were prevented by police from venturing into the club due to a shooting in the area. New Orleans Police have confimed that the Tank, aka Durrell Babbs, was tasered and arrested at a roadblock.

I live in New Orleans, and to my knowledge NOPD does not carry tasers on the street. The only time it has ever been reported that NOPD used tasers was at that protest at the City Council Meeting in December.
