“The Game” Headed To BET
BET has inked a deal with Paramount to produce a new season of the cancelled CW sitcom The Game. The show — which starred Tia Mowry, Brittany Daniel, and Wendy Raquel Robinson as the girlfriend, wife, and mother (respectively) of three professional football players in San Diego — was the spinoff of Girlfriends and ran for three seasons before The CW pulled the plug last June.
BET picked up the series for syndication and decided to develop new episodes after the reruns performed well with its audience.
