Daytime’s Top Trash-Talkin’ Tranny has a gig through 2012! On Tuesday, FOX renewed popular daily gabfest The Wendy Williams Show through the 2011-12 season.

Ratings have improved drastically for the show in recent weeks, network bosses said in a statement to Broadcasting & Cable on Wednesday. Wendy’s viewership has increased by 23% in households, 43% among women 18-34, and 37% in women 25-54.

“There was no question that we wanted to renew The Wendy Williams Show given what we’ve seen thus far in both content and ratings,” said Frank Cicha, Fox’s Senior VP of Programming. “We anticipate even further growth as the show continues to emerge as a key building block, and Wendy as a key personality, of our daytime landscape.”
